I wanted more speed from my John Deere lawn tractor, since I'm using it on a two-acre property. This did the trick, and the best thing is that it fit above the original pulley, allowing me to keep the PTO clutch/pulley assembly. I simply removed the bolt-on belt retaining guard, put on the new pully, tightened the set screws, then put the old pulley below it and tightened up the crankshaft bolt. Of course I had to install a slightly longer belt, but it works fine, the belt stays put, and I get across the property much faster. It went from about 4 mph to 6.5 mph, or about twice walking speed. And the pulley is very solid and well made. Five stars.
