I bought this to attach an old non-Ai 200mm Nikkor to my Canon R6. The adapter fits perfectly with no looseness at all. You just have to set the camera to shoot without a lens because the adapter has no electronic contacts and so the camera doesn’t detect a lens. Just go to the menu and select the icon with the camera and the scale under it before the star icon, go to option 4 and choose “shoot without a lens.†You can then shoot with the old Nikkor. Focusing is manual with the lens focusing ring, and you can see the focus in the camera’s evf or screen. What’s more, the Canon’s focus peaking works flawlessly. Exposure is set with the lens aperture ring, and the camera’s ISO and shutter speed controls, however you’ve set them. I almost forgot how nice manual focusing is on a real optical focusing lens. The results are images that equal and surpass the IQ of any of my RF L glass, with beautiful color and razor edge to edge sharpness. I was amazed. I’m leaving the adapter permanently attached to the 200mm, which will be in my camera bag along with my RF 24-105 f4 L as my travel kit. The build quality on this adapter is excellent. It also works with my Ai and Ais lenses. Highly recommended.

There's no manual. The orange stripe is next to the camera body. The shiny metal portion connects to the lens. Instead of a green dot on the adapter, it has a small dimple/mark. Align that to the lens green dot during install.In my Canon R100, it wouldn't trigger the shutter until I went into Custom Function 4 and enabled "Release shutter w/o lens".

First, it fits the Exakta lenses I have reasonably well - I'd like better retention from the little spring lever, but given the difference in fit between my Exakta lenses, I suspect that that's as good as it's going to get.What's important here is on the inside.First the ring that accepts the tabs on the back of the lens is stainless steel - but on the inside it's not much larger than it has to be. A big stainless ring facing the sensor makes ugly hot spots and cuts contrast with some of my lenses, so the smaller the better. This one is not perfect, but it's not bad at all.Second, the geometry and anodizing on the inside of the adapter are also far better at cutting internal reflections than another brand I've tried. The matte nature of the anodizing is quite good, and the internal surfaces are highly angled.It's twice the price of the cheapest ones, and it's worlds better than those are. There are others that are hundreds of dollars - I would hope that those are better still, but I'm not spending that kind of money to find out, given the large number of adapters I use.

I like the way of design. But the product sometimes didn’t come out and got stucked in my camera. So it give a hard time to use it.

I have a few old Minolta lenses that I like to use from time to time, and this adapter lets me attach those vintage lenses to my Canon R100 camera. I was surprised at how well it went onto the camera---it fit with less force than my Canon 50mm lens. My Minolta lenses attached to the adapter with no undue effort. I had never used a Pholsy product before, but this one has impressed me with its quality for the price.

Infelizmente ele não vem com os componentes eletrônicos e por isso abertura da lente e foco automático não funcionam. Ela é ideal para lentes com ajustes totalmente manuais.

Adquirà este adaptador para poder utilizar un par de lentes con montura M42 en mis cámaras modernas (Canon R6 y R8).El adaptador funciona perfectamente y no le agrega mucho peso a la cámara ya que es súper ligero.El adaptador no tiene ningún tipo de óptica, es hueco. Por eso es que no modifica de manera alguna la imagen. Solo agrega la distancia necesaria del lente montura M42 al sensor de la cámara.Además, se ve muy bien, y se siente de buena calidad. Está hecho de metal y tiene un terminado que lo hace parecer parte del mismo lente M42 que más uso (TTartisan 250mm 5.6 en la foto que agregué)EL hecho de contar ahora con este adaptador y poder utilizar los lentes de esa montura me ha motivado a comprar más lentes vintage.

Sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto da questo adattatore. La costruzione in metallo è solida e non presenta alcun scricchiolio, proprio come descritto. L'adattamento tra l'obiettivo Minolta A e la mia Canon R è preciso e sicuro.L'unica pecca, come previsto, è l'assenza dell'autofocus. Tuttavia, impostando la fotocamera in modalità "senza obiettivo" si ottiene una messa a fuoco manuale precisa e soddisfacente.Per quanto riguarda l'estetica, l'anello arancione è un tocco distintivo, ma personalmente lo avrei preferito di un colore più discreto.Nel complesso, un prodotto di ottima qualità che mi permette di utilizzare i miei vecchi obiettivi Minolta su una fotocamera moderna. Lo consiglio a tutti gli appassionati di fotografia che desiderano sperimentare nuove combinazioni!
