The magnet strength I thought was very high. Grip of this kickstand was very good. The quality of the way this kickstand is made is very good. I think this kickstand works extremely well & is a value considering how little I paid for it. This kickstand may look small but it’s very compact, strong & unfolds to be quite long which makes it very versatile.

I've had this stand attached to my phone case for 10 months now; extended and turned it hundreds if not thousands of times at this point. Carried it in my pocket every day and it shows no signs of falling apart, so I can say with confidence that this thing is sturdy. While it does show signs of wear (the gunmetal finish is starting to wear at the edges)---pictured on the left case---it is still every bit as functional. It is stiff to turn and extend when you first buy it, but it breaks in after normal use.Everyone that sees it in action loves it, because it is so versatile and useful. I have bought it for several family members, it's that useful.Only cons I can think of is that it makes wireless charging with the case on impossible, and it makes the phone a tiny bit more bulky to carry in your pocket. But for me, the ability to sit my phone upright or on its side anywhere I go far exceeds those cons.UPDATE: a little over a year of using this daily the hinges are giving out. I was able to push the pins in with a vice grip a few times but it seems like it's reached the end of its life. Still worth it if I have to rebuy this every year, because it's a great phone stand.

This was perfect for my needs. I liked the different ways to position my phone (portrait or landscape orientation), and the ability to use it like a hook.The adhesive lasted 7 months. I have replaced it with a 2-sided command strip and hope that holds for some time.

Wow - this is THE BEST PURCHASE I've made for my phone in a looooong time. I wish I had found this device earlier.I started with the ever-popular pop-socket. While I liked the concept (waaaaay helpful for holding the phone), I quickly found out that it caused my other unintended hassles...for one, a pop-socket gets in the way when I put the phone down on its back (becomes wobbly) or try to slide it into my pocket (the pop socket just catches/gets in the way). It also doesn't hold the phone up in portrait mode, onlhy works in landscape mode. Eventually, the adhesion stopped working and it fell off. I had quite liked how it made holding the phone so much easier, but at $20 I wasn't going to buy another one. So I just super-glued it on. That helped for a while until that came off...then my phone case was left with an unsightly glue residue. Plus, $20 for that rediculous thing, really???So, I guess I needed a new one. I decided to try another version that looks very similar to the pop-socket except it doesn't stick it on. Instead, it has a contraption that grabs on to each side of the phone. I liked it better as I could remove it when I didn't want it on the phone, and I could slide it up/down depending on how I wanted to use it as a stand. However, it had the same issue getting in the way trying to put it into a pocket. Annoying.Eventually, it was time for a new phone and the second device did not fit the new phone (too wide)....so back to searching for a new gadget. I came across this one and it solves nearly all of those previous issues (see the one caveat later). I LOVE how it has a very slim design, it holds VERY well (so far, at least, about one month in), and it is moveable in any/all directions to make the phone sit exactly how you want to. Plus, with it's design, it is even easier to hold as I can just dangle it from one finger like a key chain! **One and only negative - since I cannot remove it (it sticks on), you will not be able to use a wireless charging pads. Small price to pay, IMO, for all the other amazing things about this little device. Maybe this is a deal-breaker for you, but for me....I have no problem simply plugging the phone in when I need to charge.Seriously, best little handy-dandy device ever! And for $12....sold!

I've had this now for a little over a month. At first it was really strong and great. It could support the phone easily like in the photos. Not so much anymore after weeks of using it. The first joint is actually loose now and wiggles open and close freely, about a 1/4 inch. Also I got the black metal and the black is wearing off in the normal wear and tear areas. The middle ahiny metal ia already sratched up, granted i am rough on my phone. The magnet is really strong. It has a very unique design for many standing options but needs to be made stronger. If I could give this 3.5 starts I feel that is a little more appropriate. It has stayed secure on my phone.

I purchase the phone holder in September 2024 and I loved how versatile it is. Sadly, it's not holding up my phone anymore its not even 6 months yet. I thought I would have gotten at least gotten a year's use. I did give it 4 stars for functionality but it's just not long lasting.

I used the rose gold for 2 years before the hinge started to wear enough that it wasn't holding the phone up.Choose to have the black one this time as the price was cheaper. Works as i need it, a solid holder.

The 2nd bending ring is not much durable, even though it's broken within a month but 1st ring is also useful and the adhesiveness is great.But the metal design is not strong enough to stay attached to car magnet during bumpy ride.

The metal isn't sturdy, the glue isn't strong.Product lasted 2 months. Don't buy.
