This product works well for its intended use.A couple of things to consider. The headphones output is not amplified much and is controlled by the volume knob and the output is so low that a separate headphone amplifier will be required to use headphones or use the amplifier output from a receiver or amplifier through the RCA output. There is no power switch. There is a clearly marked grounding screw above the power connector. I have not tried to hook a Bluetooth transmitter to it, but I believe it would work fine. The RCA output is controlled by the level knob. This is also a very low signal strength output level, even at full level. Very low noise though. I just wish the output was about 2x stronger as I have turn my Yamaha receiver up most of the way to get a good listening experience.

It’s funny, with all our advances in technology, my favorite method of listening to music is the classic vinyl. I wanted to share with my son the experience of vinyl so I ordered this to attach my phonograph to our stereo system. Unfortunately, we then proceeded to digitize all my albums. LOL, but at least, now we have the opportunity to listen to the soft deep vinyl tones the way music was meant to be listened when the urge hits.

Well I should have known from the pictures on the web page. Pictures that show a unit lacking a grounding screw for the turntable ground? Pictures that show the stereo output connected to only 1 channel? Pictures that depict a turntable lacking a cartridge?Well my turntable does have a cartridge, and the unit did produce sound (with AC buzz) from the line output using the "level" control, but the "volume" control did nothing. There was a significant AC 60Hz buzz that went away when I touched the turntable grounding wire to the RCA shell ground on the unit, which as stated has no grounding screw. So if you buy this you will have to diy a grounding scheme for your turntable.Headphone output was non-working, here "level" did nothing but "volume" raised the level just above the background din, tried with many headphones and sensitive IEMs, you could barely hear the record. Also if you had both headphone and line out connected at the same time, when you turned one up the other went down.So overall not recommended whatsoever.

The output level of this preamp is extremely low even with the level turned all the way up. I could get the volume up to average listening level by turning my 150W/channel system up to about 90% of max. Using the normal phono inputs with the same turntable I could accomplish the same listening level at about 30%. Earlier reviews criticized the lack of a ground screw but they were wrong. There is a ground screw right above the 12V power port. But, it is too small to be very useful so you must have a spade end on the ground wire since it is too small to hold bare wire.I do not recommend this preamp.

Forgot that I have a coil cartridge, not a moving magnet. Also forgot that my turntable has a built in pre-amp, which is fine normally but it's a different type than this, those two things together mean all I get from this is awful, rumbly scratchy sound. Too bad. Now, I know someone who has a moving magnet cartridge I will give this too as a gift, because I can tell it's quality. It's made well and it's a good, compact size. It's just that it's not made for my turntable.

if you're just getting into vinyl or want to set up a second turntable in your home (which is what I did), this Floveedio Phone Preamp for Moving Magnet Cartridges is a great way to start listening for not a lot of money. Everything you need in a phono pre-amp is included. And there is a grounding screw; it's located right above the power input jack.Depending on your setup, the sound is very good and for me amplifies more than enough the signal coming from my turntable's cartridge. So, for less than $20, you can afford a very good preamp and jump right into listening to vinyl. This Floveedio preamp is a great way to start.

I recently picked up the FLoveedio Phono Preamp for my MM turntable, and overall, it’s been a solid addition to my setup. The sound quality is impressive for its size, delivering clear and balanced audio. For the price, it offers great value, especially with both a TRS headphone jack and RCA output—making it versatile for different audio setups.Functionality-wise, it’s straightforward. The build quality feels decent, especially considering its compact design. Installation was a breeze, and it fits easily into my space without taking up much room. For a budget-friendly option, it ticks all the right boxes.

I grabbed an old turntable with no preamp last week. Obvs it needed a boost. This gets it comfortably into a USB DAC and into my computer without having to crank absolutely every volume knob in the chain. That's all I want and all I need.Did I get a good example in amongst the bad reviews here? I guess so. The noise reduction is excellent. Except for the most egregious incidents of dust and debris at the needle, I haven't heard a hiss or a pop out of this thing and I raid thrift stores for a lot of records so that gives you an indicator of the expected quality of platter I'm subjecting this preamp to.I don't know what more I could ask out of this. It boosts the turntable output, it sounds just fine. If that's all you need, then this little box is just fine.

As described, very nicely packed and working well, I was expecting humming / hissing sound, but nothing like that...
