I bought the "Classic Version" of this slide remote clicker, and it seems good so far. Our employees have a mix of old and new laptops, so some have USB-A ports, and some only have USB-C ports. This remote clicker works with both types of USB ports without needing an additional adapter USB-C to USB-A adapter dongle. That is why I bought this clicker instead of the old standard Logitech clicker we've used in the past. This remote seems to be working fine with Powerpoint for both clicking to go to next slide (or go back a slide), as well as for clicking to reveal click-through animations on a slide, such as clicking to reveal next bullet in a list on a slide.

If you're looking for a basic slides remote, this one is great. no setup required, good weight and feel in your hand. Only a 4 because the extra functionality isn't quite intuitive. I could look more into it, but the thing was I didn't NEED it so it didn't bother me. (all I need is something to advance slides, I dont need to open windows, start videos, etc.) Fantastic for the price point. Good range, solid connection, no issues.

Super affordable and great for being able to navigate through slides while moving around the classroom. The pointer allows for interaction with materials around the room. Set up was a breeze and with a dongle for a usb extension slot pairs perfectly with a keyboard and mouse or second monitor!

I have purchased other USB/USB-C presentation clickers that have the receiver that slides out of the bottom (stick style). Those other ones have a tendancy to break. Either the plastic piece that swivels around and acts as a means to pull the receiver out of the clicker breaks or the receiver breaks apart separating the USB-C side from the USB-A side. This model is built much better as there are fewer "moving" parts. I also like that it takes 2 AAA batteries versus just one in the stick style clickers. It also appears that the range is better on these which could be due to using 2 batteries or they use better electronic components. So far so good!

I bought this remote in May. I was using an older remote that still worked. It finally died today and I tried to use this remote. It would not turn on despite fresh batteries. I remembered a copy of the user guide was on the laptop usb connector/dongle. My computer would not recognize the remote usb connector/dongle. I deleted the software program and rebooted. Got a message that the dongle could not connect to the internet to download the software even though my internet is working. Guess you get what you pay for as I will be going back to Logitech despite the price difference.

Great find I’ve been looking for this and considered two other options. This one looked most promising when I go it, it was even better than the picture! Plus, the extra details in the packaging made it perfect, thanks.
