I love the colors. I was looking for something not all plastic because those are weak. These are a heavier plastic with strong metal handles. It is what is needed in the South.

This "Wire Handle Fly Swatter" is actually an *Anti BEM Battle Sword" via its fluid, clear, sharp potential strokes allowed for via a generously substantial wire handle that has an actual handle-hold area -- and the fairly thick double wire of this handle enters the *blade* [swat-area paddle] via a well-spaced [about half-inch] separation to anchor this *blade* spot-on. This *blade* is actually a firm plastic surface that is spot-on for ideal heavy sharp strokes versus various BEM [bug-eyed monsters]. This *blade* has a big swat-area as compared to many other such weapons -- and combined with the fairly long handle -- allows for really easy [yet] hard whacks. The *blade* also features an ideal pattern of plastic ribs that radiate from the solid plastic handle base-area outwards to the outer frontal *blade* borders -- to optimise swat-area without extra plastic -- allowing for plenty of air to pass thru the still closely spaced ribs -- combining with the GREAT WHIPLASH of handle-and-paddle for all-out BEM mayhem. Easily worth its cost -- Bugs Beware ~~~

These are very sturdy, but the plastic will fall off the wire right away, I added some glue to mine and they seem to be better now

A little flimsy but for the money they are fine. I have killed many many flies. Purpose satisfied

They work. They're not the colors posted, which was primarily why I chose these ones. It's an ugly tool- I thought it could at least be a pretty color, lol, nope.

My dog and I recently spent three entire days being terrorized by this...mutant fly thing. I have never before seen anything like it, and hope never to again. It was always at least three moves ahead of me when I stalked it, and it became obvious very quickly that the rolled up magazine I was wielding just wasn't gonna cut it. I quickly placed an order with Amazon for this fly swatter, and within the first hour of ownership, I had taken out the fly!!! I felt WAY too victorious over it, I gotta admit. I cannot tell you though, how awesome it was for my dog and I both, to continue on with our lives not being dive bombed by mutant fly thing every 60 seconds or so. I know there are many other options out there for taking out pernicious flying 'insects', which I am sure work great. I went old school with this swatter though, and am so thankful I did! The mutant fly thing? Not so much.

I’m 60 years old, and I’ve never owned a fly swatter that lasts for more than a couple of seasons. This is probably going to be the same story. For those who don’t know - you can make any swatter last longer by fortifying it with duct tape in the areas it will inevitably fail (top and at the base). I like the wire handle - strong and long.5 stars for the customer service. I received only 4 swatters when I ordered the 6 pack. They corrected my issue immediately - no fuss no muss. I will probably look for them when I buy my next set for that reason alone.
