Bought this because my camera was not charging through its port. Had some special events and the battery barely made it! So I found this on here and bought it. The 2 batteries are charged up and work perfect in my Nikon. I do not take photos frequently so that could of been the problem with my battery.I put the original battery from my Nikon camera and it charged fully with this charger. Now my battery charges again and I do not charge from my port in the camera. GREAT find!!

I couldn't tell you if these take the same amount of photos as the Nikon battery, but they last long enough for my use when traveling. The supplied charger being able to charge two batteries at once is great. So unless you need the best batteries for pro use, this is a pretty solid purchase for your P1000.

I wanted the charger. The first one only charged one battery at a time so I returned it. The second one came with a bum cord but I have another one that works. I don't know how good the batteries are, but the charger seems good. Edit—the batteries are fine.the seller contacted me to offer an additional free set. I appreciate a seller who strives to satisfy customers—they’re the ones to buy from.

Batteries work great and stock battery will charge in the same charger. Saved us on a recent trip in extreme heat where battery life has greatly reduced.
