We liked everything about it (except for a few small details).So many details are better than described, and the whole thing is so gosh-darn-cute :-) The only thing that I could be picky about is that the leather straps are pretty flimsy, so those might need to be replaced eventually if they snap. Thicker, double-sided straps would make it look more posh. It is nice that the leather is genuine and all authentic details as listed, only it looks better than in the product shots. Happy Times!

So I decided to buy a picnic basket for a friend and realized after some quick extensive googling that there are only a few kinds of baskets being made and they are all pretty much available at different prices on different websites (Macys, BBB, Williams & Sonoma, Sears, Walmart etc). However, it's the exact same product. So make sure to check all the prices.Anyway, the biggest issue with the baskets seemed to be construction. The cheaper ones - according to reviews - looked nice in pictures but in reality were pretty crappy. This was a little more than I wanted to pay (I bought it for $135) but it's absolutely beautiful and the construction seems great. The contents are reasonably high quality - real glasses, real plates, silverware has some weight to it, napkins aren't stunning but are also not overtly cheap. Everything arrived without being broken. The wine bag and cooler are also pretty good. The only weak spot is the blanket, which looks like something a homeless guy would turn his nose up at, BUT I will probably just replace it before gifting.I would thoroughly recommend this item.

I bought this as a present for someone special. Her old basket was taken and she loved it when I surprised her with this. The build quality is good, as are all of the included accessories.Unfortunately, one of the wine glasses was broken during shipping. The basket is shipped with both wine glasses strapped into their respective place, however this is not good during the shipment as you have the (G)lass, the (B)asket, and then the (C)ardboard box like this: GBC. I suggest wrapping the glasses in bubble wrap and removing the empty placeholder box that's inside.Tempted to give 4 stars for the glass but the basket is nice regardless, and it made her super happy.

Everything in this basket is very high-quality and I was pleased that nothing broke during shipping. Everything is well made. I purchased this as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it. This is the nicest, highest-quality "basket for two" that I could find. Worth every penny!

While the actual basket, plates and cups are nice enough. However, I felt the overall package was not worth the price I paid. The straps despite being leather are thin and not secured to the basket in anyway so it feels as thought they will probably get lost. The blanket quality is that of a bargain store, same with the napkins. The base of the basket has no padding unlike the lid. The chain looks about as thick as a paper clip. I can’t say I’m confident in the overall longevity of the product. Overall I wish more care was put into the basket and that they quality of specific items/sections were of a higher quality which would not have cost the company selling much more to do.

Well first off, it’s lovely. I can’t wait to have picnic adventures with it (Especially since I converted mine into a Doctor Who theme).It seems pretty well constructed, and the handle is a lot more suitcase-like than I expected.Now some downsides...First thing I noticed was a chemical smell. Like maybe the leather or the varnish on the wicker or both, but definitely let it air out before use.I was hoping the straps were more buttons than racks, but they’re not buttons. It’s ok, but it leaves you less options for switching out the silverware because the leather is very tight.The blanket that comes with it looks terrible. Like the kind of blanket you give your dog. If you’re crafty I’m sure you can make it look better, but I just replaced it with another.I’m a little worried about things being jostled around inside, since there’s no strap to hold the bulk of things in place. But I guess we’ll see.

Bought this to go on picnics with my wife. Keeps plates forks etc. neatly organized. The leather straps look a little flimsy, but still going strong. The blanket is also a little cheap, but I didn't buy it for the blanket. I like it so we'll see how long it holds up.

Great quality! Authentic leather straps. Heavy stainless steel cutlery. Real glass glasses. Porcelain plates. Mind you, it is manufactured in China, but higher quality than most picnic sets on the market for the price point. Very pleased.
