I love how neatly this little bag holds all the picnic essentials, and was excited to take it on an upcoming road trip. so I was disappointed to find a long crack in one of the wine 'glasses', and a chip out of one of the S&P shakers. the plastic wrapping was missing from the cracked 'glass' and the plastic wrap covering the entire backpack was taped together haphazardly, so I'm fairly certain this was previously returned. despite these two imperfections, the bag does seem otherwise well-made and the perfect solution for road trips, camping, and (of course) picnics. I'm returning this one, but will likely re-order and hope for the best. at this price point, it should be perfect.

At other online stores this was selling for $120 what a fabulous savings.We bought it for an anniversary gift, but now I want one too!It's roomy and especially like that the ice chest compartment has a liner that is easilyremoved for washing. The thermos is good sized and the utensils and dishes are complete.A very good buy.

Although this is a lovely idea and will certainly be fun to use, I am very disappointed in the quality for the price I paid. Very convenient in the items that are provided, and will work just fine for what it is intended for. However, the materials are not what I expected. The dishes are small and everything, including the napkins, feel cheaply made. I do like the thermos, and while the coffee mugs are small, they are nice. From the photo I thought the handle grip would be a sturdy leather, or a nice leather substitute. Instead it's a very cheap vinyl, barely stitched on.

This seemed a bit pricey when I purchased it, although comparable to similar items of the same quality. Now that I have received and used it, I have no regrets about spending what I did. The fabric is thick, the stitching is heavy, and the dishes are decent (with the possible exception of the water glasses, which, although pretty, don't seem like they will last very long). The dishes are of a standard size, and there are extra/empty places (will carry 4 of each plates/cutlery/water glasses, if you omit the coffee mugs - meaning you can easily convert from 2 to 4 when needed). The travel mugs and thermos, however, are not standard (smaller than usual, although perfect for a picnic), so may be difficult to replace - buy I don't anticipate having to do that any time soon. Although I am very fond of the traditional style picnic hamper, this backpack is much more practical, especially if you plan on walking any distance. In short, it's a good investment, and I am glad we decided to go with this brand.
