These are nice bolts and nuts, and are ideal for many auto, marine, and motor sports battery terminals. We have four older cars, a boat, and a golf cart in the family so we are regularly servicing or replacing a battery. Glad to have this high quality hardware handy when it's needed.

I initially though they looked like stainless, pretty sure they are zinc plated as they are VERY magnetic despite other reviews.

Battery terminal clamp bolts on a recently acquired pickup were corroded to the point of breaking. The terminals them selves looked great with a little cleaning. The repalcement bolts at the local parts store felt cheap and didn;t fit quite right, but these worked perfect. I've got several vehicles and maintain them myself, so nice having spares.

According to Amazon it would fit my car, but it does not fit in the hole for the clamps that secure to my battery. I don't know if it is Amazon or the seller who should be responsible for correct item matching, but the product is useless from my standpoint and I missed the return window.

I recently replaced the two batteries in my Dodge Diesel and I cleaned up the lead battery clamps since they would not tighten, I filed the lead to give the clamp more space to close when the bolts are tightened. I only wish however that someone would make these bolts in stainless steel so that they wouldn't corrode in the first place. Also one bolt needed a short stud in the other side of the square head but I couldn't find any such bolts other that the dealer which I think would be rather pricey for a bolt, so I had to reuse that bolt..
