I found out about this manufacturer when I worked a part time job. They truly absorb al liquid. I don't need them often. If there's the rare pet accident, all liquid is absorbed. I've used to absorb water in the basement from a dehumidifier that was leaking and all water was absorbed from the basement carpet. I bought a competitors less expensive product that ended up being useless. The only downside is the price, but there are enough absorbment pads to last a lifetime. I'll look at other products from this manufacturer because I'm so impressed how these work.

The Pig Mats do a good job absorbing motor oil, transmission fluid, and anti-freeze spills on my concrete garage floor.The mats are convenient to use in that one doesn’t have to spread another absorbent product that gets tracked all over the shop.Overall, I am very satisfied with the Pig Mats.

The mats absorb water and at time if not completely soaked can be dried.

Don't buy these. I don't like to give negative reviews, but they don't protect residential hardwood floors from condensation from a humidifier. Bought two boxes for use at my Grandma's house because she needs to run a cold-steam producing humidifier for her breathing problems. The fog/humidity from the (portable floor model) machine settled on these pads I surrounded it with and the 90-year-old hardwood floor still got soaked. I would return for a refund except I don't have time to pack up two cases of these mats for shipping back to either Amazon or mfr. They may be good for toxic industrial spills on concrete but they don't work for water on wood. Not for me, anyway.
