These socks do absorb well, and are decent at blocking water to a point. The sock fabric length is as advertised, but for the contained gel and its real effectiveness, the real length is about half. These 10 ft. socks are only useful as a 5 ft. block length with half the fabric empty and folded back on itself. Smaller socks perform similarly.

These sock barriers are excellent at absorption and barricading seeping water into my basement. They are quite easy to place and work beautifully. I have yet to try to dry and reuse them, but, I expect an excellent result! I have already bought more.

With the amount of rain we have been receiving I am unable to control erosion which leads to run off running directly to my ground level doors at my plant. These are reusable after drying and have stopped flooding my warehouse.
