This is by far my favorite instrument cable. I bought a 6ft xlr cable. It's not flashy, just plain back with almost no branding or markings. It's thick and feels like quality when you are holding it. If they keep up the quality I will go out of my way to make sure I keep on buying these.

Pig Hog usually has very good quality cables. This one is made of rubber and I prefer the woven cords personally but I thought I’d give this one a shot. It’s not bad at all, and does what it’s made for. Haven’t had any trouble with sound since I’ve had them for a few months. The only thing is around the XLR plug-in part, it seems a little bit on the plasticy side, and the rubber tube around the end that’s used to keep the part from bending slid down and I had to try to shove it back into place. I could do it, so no big deal, but I wish it was a little sturdier build quality. Woven cords in general are tougher and I haven’t had that problem with them, so if you’ve got a little more to spend, get those ones and you can even choose colors and code them :)

The connectors feel high quality. I'm not going to test their limits to see how easy it is to break them or wear them out, but they definitely don't feel cheap and plasticy.

I don't use anything but these Pig Hog cables. Never had one fail. They are tough and road worthy. Want good cables? Get Pig Hog

Really love the way the cable flows and lays. But it is made with silicone and the oils can leach out if it touches other silicone based items... such as the rubber cover strips on the Elgato Wave Arm. Where the cable touches the strip, oil has leaked and the texture of the silicone has hardened a bit.So really the cable has ruined itself inside the Elgato Wave Arm. But while it's in there it's fine. If I took it out it would be stiff and weird from the silicone oils leaching out.Otherwise it's a great cable and I still like it in the arm. If I get another I will probably put down a layer of tape or cloth to prevent the silicones from touching each other.

I run live sound in a brewery 5 days a week and we had a lot of old cables that needed to be upgraded. I bought a big pack of these hoping for the best.Extremely high quality. Thick shielding and they don't have a lot of memory so they don't tend to tangle up a lot unless you don't know how to wrap a cable.The only thing I would mention is the caps on each XLR seem a bit loose, I have to tighten them down a lot. I might get some loctite to address it permanently.Regardless definitely high quality cables at an affordable price and I have already bought more from this brand.

Hog is beefy. I believe the roadworthiness claims. Overkill for my uses but peace of mind and longevity of service are good assurances to have. Vote with your wallet, get the cable that costs a little more—buy once, cry once, love it forever.
