I was really excited when this kit arrived. The value seemed great and the size was perfect, especially compared to the stick that came with our piñata. However, it did not last through a tame, controlled birthday party with 7 year olds and part of the stick broke off. Half of the stick launched and almost hit one of the party guests. The stick will not go back together and looks pretty rough in general now, so it really should not be expected to last through more than one party. You may want to have a backup also…because our piñata was small, so I can’t imagine how it would do with a large piñata.

My 5 year old granddaughter broke the stick after hitting the piñata 3 times. Very disappointed in the strength of the stick. I do not recommend.
