This is a great pin-spot If you have a mirror ball and you want to upgrade to color reflections. This light is bright and has a wide focus range, so you can dial in slightly fewer sharp points of light or a huge field of softer spots. Colors fade, jump, and breathe easily with the included membrane remote control. The englishy manual says you can't use the light without the remote. The body of the light is entirely plastic, but it feels like tough stuff and has a good overall finish. You can hang this with as little as one screw, but if it's hung above humans, there are special requirements to ensure their safety. Some of them have pets, after all.

I've got 2 of these lights pointed at a 10 inch disco ball. They both work great after moving them closer to the ball. I naively mounted these about 15 feet away from the ball at first thinking I would be able to adjust the focus of light. But trash that thought. These need to be about 6 to 8 feet away from the ball to get the light focus the size of the ball. Once I got them closer the light reflected was fantastic.

I needed a spot light for my disco ball and the Pinspot light is the ideal solution. Simply plug it in and direct it where you want it to go. There are three main colors and it can alternate between them. This was pretty bright enough to light up the ball well enough to refract the light. I also make a great spot light for plants when used indoors.

Poor craftsmanship, remote not working and spot is not adjustable

I'll be honest, I didn't get this to aim at a disco ball, but at a table on stage when I perform. In my mind reading act I have a prop that I really want to highlight, so I aim this light at it and at the right time just hit the switch to turn it on. It adds some real "oomph!" to the routine. If I had a disco ball, this would be perfect for it -- in fact, I'm thinking up a routine for my show where a disco ball would be just right...

Item is not what I thought it would be. Although it is bright and is controllable through the remote control. Would work well with a disco ball or some other type of rotating item with reflective surface. For all it is, I would think the price point would be lower, so I'm not sure it would be considered a bargain at the 25.00 price tag.

I got this for a mirror ball that we used as part of our Halloween decorations, and it works beautifully. My only concern is that the beam width isn't adjustable, instead requiring the light to be moved closer to or farther from the mirror ball to keep the light from spilling around the ball and lighting up the wall behind it. This can make for quite a bit of work and trickiness in mounting the light in just the right spot.Overall, though, it works well, is really bright, and brought a lot of umph to our Halloween decor.

Solidly made, the value is great how bright h the light is. It would be good for home recreation but would also work in a professional environment for parties, events, weddings, get togethers and such. Seems like it is durable as I accidentally dropped it and it didn’t seem to affect it whatsoever. Great functionality and the color options are basic but varied enough for a brilliant light display.
