I used this jacket for a day of skiing this past weekend and am glad I made the purchase. It kept me warm with only a thin wool shirt underneath. It's well worth the price.

Arrived quickly and in good condition.When this coat arrived, I thought it was a sweatshirt before I opened the package.Very thin, with barely any insulation at all, this bills itself as a warm winter coat, but in reality is more of a fall type jacket.Don't get me wrong. It looks nice, with the high neck line that covers your chin, and zippers all the way up to that point. The stitching is good, the seam work is fine, but I just can not in good conscience recommend this as a main winter coat for two hundred dollars.The inside is very very thin. There's no real padding, and no insulation to keep in warmth. This might do you well in 40 degree weather, but if it drops below freezing, you're going to freeze along with it.A detachable snow skirt on the inner seam serves no purpose, other than to get in your way while trying to close the jacket, and the inner mesh pocket would have been better served had a zipper been added to keep things from falling out.There is a zippered inner pocket on the inside sleeve however, and that should have been what they did on both sides instead of that mesh pocket.With the wording on the advertisement for this, it also says 'raincoat'. That's pretty much all this is. A nice spring or fall rain jacket that's far far overpriced and will not keep you warm in any sort of cold weather.A hard pass on this one.

The ZIP was a problem from the start (left-hand fitting) and broke entirely after two weeks use.
