I'm too lazy to make frosting bags from parchment paper, so I have tried using this type of plastic disposable bags. The ones I have purchased in the past always burst when I start squeezing frosting through small tips. Not these, though!

I bought these disposable piping bags for my daughter's birthday cake, and they worked perfectly for me! The bags felt strong in my hands and didn't slip even when I squeezed hard to make flower designs. I was worried they might burst when I filled them with thick frosting, but they held up great and didn't leak at all. The smooth inside helped me pipe smoothly, making my decorations look much better than when I used plastic bags with the corner cut off. I've used them for cookies and cupcakes too, and I still have plenty left for future baking projects - they're definitely worth the money for me!

These bags are a great price for the number of bags. They get the job done. They are a little thinner than I thought they would be, but they hold more icing than many of the bags I have used in the past. Despite being thin, I've never had one explode/burst at the seam. The reason for the four stars, is because sometimes the icing will leak around the tip, but it isn't bad. Over all, good bags!

My favorite part about this bags is that they are durable but also thin enough to take the piping tip out without having to cute the bag! They are also functional and easy to use. Definitely worth the price.

I typically use disposable bags when I am doing my detailed cookie decorating or cake decorating because I often need to have several colors available and using these disposables makes cleam-up a breeze. I was leery at first when pulling one out of the bag because of how thin they were, but they feel great in your hand and I TRIED my hardest to squeeze a filled bag hard enough to see how long before they split open and it never happened. They are durable and the shape makes them even easier to hold properly in your hand while using.

These are just very thin plastic disposable piping bags. But they're strong enough to do the job with any contents thin enough to actually be piped, and, at $8/100, quite cost-effective. I wasn't able to try using them with a nozzle, so perhaps another reviewer could comment on that. My gut feeling, though, is that there wouldn't be a problem.Nothing fancy, but a good, solid product for any projects that require piping.

Economical pastry bags, these are at a reasonable cost for disposable bags (100 bags for $7, at time of review). They are on the thinner side, but for single-session bags, not a surprise. You do need to be careful not to overfill since the bags are thin and can split if too much stress is placed on them. With the 12-inch bags, you can expect to get between 8 and 10 ounces of frosting in them without fear of bursting while using. At that capacity these work well for the typical home baker that may just be frosting a cake, batch of cupcakes or cookies at one time, as you can get about 3 uses out of these bags in one session.
