The hammer features a cone-shaped nose with a sharp, flattened point and a dual beveled tail. A helical barrel spring handle, unique to welding and chipping hammers, has a hanging hook at one end so the tool hangs easily from a peg board or nail.

I actually bought this to use as a handle on a smoker. It worked great for that, after I removed the hammer end.It's a little lighter than some chip hammers, but it's sturdy enough to bang away all day.So it perfect at it's price point. If you want something heavier, you'll have to look at product weights and pay more.

I use this tool to clean dries concrete off my ready mix truck and it works excellent. I know longer need to hold a chisel in on hands and a hammer in the other. I like then comfort of this tool and it’s durablit considering the abuse i put it through.

This is a pretty good little chipper hammer, especially fo the price. It is well constructed and solid. Size and weight is perfect. For the price it is a must buy, if you need a hammer for welding or chipping away at rocks etc. I highly recommend this chipper.

It worked very well. I have used it a lot after welding. I like having the booth ends to get in to small spaces.

What can I say, it's a piece of metal you chip away at the slag on a weld. It seems to be holding up just fine.
