Tool works as it should. Working on wheels for my Harley sportster and had no problems after watching a quick YouTube “tutorialâ€. If you have the right tools it removes bearings easily; I used a 10†crescent and medium sized torque lock pliers for the removal since typical SAE sizes didn’t fit perfectly.

I ride a LOT. For some reason, I blow through rear wheel bearings about every 10000 miles. The stealership doesn't carry my bearings and STILL charges me an arm-and-a-leg to replace my bearings. I decided that I'd had enough. This wheel bearing puller kit will more than pay for itself in two sets of bearings for me. I'm THRILLED that I purchased this set.The picture shows a case. I received no case. This was disappointing to me despite the many reviews indicating that there is no case. I have an extra case that I threw the set in and I'm fine. However, THERE IS NO CASE. Don't think you're smarter than everyone else and think that the picture shows a case so there is a case. There is no case. The instructions are accurate, but leave A LOT to be desired. Pit Posse has You-Tube video that shows how to use this tool that was way better than the instructions included. For those who have stripped their remover die or bolt: either you didn't oil the assembly as per the instructions or you used a crescent wrench on the puller, rather than an allen wrench in the backside as the instructions call for.Upon pulling my bearings, I did get the puller bolt stuck in the spreader collet die. I contacted Pit Posse about this; they asked for receipt and pictures and promptly replaced the part that was stuck. It's one thing to be happy with something when everything is perfect...it's completely different when something has an issue and you're still happy with it. I'm very glad I purchased this tool. I would recommend this to my friends...but they'll just borrow mine.

I just completed replacing the wheel bearings in my 2014 HD Ultra Limited- a total of 6 bearings- 4 for the wheels, and 2 for the rear sprocket/pulley. The "flats" on the collet did work well with a 16mm wrench. Other nuts and bolt heads were "off" a bit, and I ended up using a crescent wrench on a couple, but that didn't cause any problems. The tool worked very well for pulling the bearings. No issues at all. And for the most part it worked well installing the bearings. The one challenge was using the tool to install the bearings in the sprockey/pulley. The pulley was too narrow to be able to use the long install bolt- the bolt was threaded only about half way. I was able to use the bolt by stacking some of the other pieces on the bolt to position the threaded part of the bolt. I did faithfully lubricate the threads with light machine oil. I also lubricated the outer bearing races. The tool is well made, and i was suprised to see it was made in Taiwan, not China. Everything fit well in the provided case. The printed instructions to me were a bit lacking, but there are many videos on You Tube, ect... to show how the tool works. The price was also good- a third of what the Harley Davidson branded tool costs.

Let us start with this. In terms of value, this is a 5-star purchase. The overall machining and quality is good for an $80 dollar tool. You re getting 4 tools 3 pullers 1",3/4" and 25mm and the install tool. That's $20 bucks a tool and you get a nice case. If you take your time and clean and oil the threads with each use and use the proper wrenches this should last a long time.Pro'sIt when used correctly works great1/2 the cost of the pro level tool and 3/4 the quality and that's only because of some "nit picky issues I'll explain belowSaves you money!Great caseCon'sPuller (I call it a collet) machining is off at the top it should be 5/8's it's not and has a bit of slop even with a 15mm on itThe large nut is 1.015" not 1" so I had to use an adjustable wrenchThe bolt head on the installer is 19mm and the nut on the other side is 11/16thsOverall This is a GREAT VALUE! looking at past reviews this tool has been revised a couple times over the years. This shows the company is listening to its customers. So if you are listening please use metric or sae on the hardware and machining. and thank you for offering an affordable product to us DIY'ers. I uploaded a couple video's explaning the use of this tool. I paid for this tool and it was not part of any promotion

Do not buy the $39 kit thinking it's the same. THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT FOR HARLEY WHEEL BEARINGS. The $39 chinesium sets won't do the job even once. Trust me. This does the job well and is built well enough to keep doing the job. The $39 kits will cost you the $39, ton of wasted time and effort, and any sanity you had before you started the job. This is the kit.... the only kit... stop looking and just spend the $.
