HOW TO USE

PIN PUNCH

STEP 1

Put the Pivot Pin Tool fixture over the pin housing on the lower and insert large Pivot Pin Tool Pin.

STEP 2

Load spring first, then detent second into the Pivot Pin Tool fixture. Compress the spring and detent with the Pivot Pin Tool plunger and hold.

PIN TOOLS

STEP 3

Rotate the Pivot Pin Tool assembly 90 degrees and then remove the plunger.

PIN PUNCH

STEP 4

Insert Pivot Pin Tool as shown, then remove large Pivot Pin Tool pin. Finally, remove Pivot Pin Tool fixture and snap Pivot Pin into closed position.

I was a bit skeptical at first but, this thing works really well! Saves a ton of time and hassle! Well worth the $10 I paid. Excellent addition to the tool kit!

It makes that front pin easy. I used screw drivers before, this thing made it effortless. Yeah, it’s plastic, so what, it works freakin great!

I must have fat fingers, took way too long to get it right. But worked better than the hour long attempt to install spring and detect without it. Still a good purchase.

Little tricky to figure out how to use it, but once I figured it out, it was great. It’s worth it for assembling one lower or 10.

This part of the build is difficult but with this thing it makes it pretty darn easy.

I don't know why people are complaining about this not working on the rear detent pin. This is made specifically for the front pivot pin detent and that's it. Regardless if you have skinny fingers or fat fingers, this product works the same. If you can't get this to work easily you shouldn't be working on any firearm. Great product, took less than a minute to install that annoying front detent. Highly recommend.
