Purchased these on a whim, because I like the look of them. I was leery to buy a pair of flip-flops I had not tried on. I have Arch issues and need support. these do not have a high arch but it seems to support my foot well. I took them on a vacation and wore them for hours not broken in. I had walked ariund my hours a few hours beforehand to be sure i liked them. I love how you are able to slide them to adjust to your foot. I highly recommend!

This is my third pair of Plakas. I also choose black, but there's many fun options to choose from! I appreciate they have thicker soles that last longer than my first pair, but they are super comfortable, chic, and light to wear. I live in Florida and these are my go-to every day shoes. My puppy destroyed one from last year, which is the only reason I had to buy another pair for Spring!

I didn't like how these fit at first since the arch support didn't hit me right where I wanted but I kept them & I'm glad I did. These are lightweight, soft soled sandals that I've grown to appreciate. I love the Sangria color except that it picks up any dead skin cells on my feet making cleaning these daily a necessity. The knitting on these is very stiff, almost like covered in wax or something. That made it difficult to adjust to how it felt on my skin. On the right sandal, the roping inserts into the sole at an odd angle but I can turn it to fit against my foot better. As I have broken these in, I find them my 'go to' pair around the house or if I have to run outside. They are durable, sturdy, grip well, don't mind water at all, and have grown on me. They'd be 5 stars if they didn't have to be cleaned daily but they're just so cute! I keep a look out for this brand to run specials to get a big bang for my buck. So far, so good.

I was rolling the dice on these according to some reviews, but for me, I want to get another pair in a different style and color. The stretch was there, comfort without being too flat or non-conforming. The color was exactly as the pictures. And they're super cute! Not sure how they'll hold up, but brand new, on the beach, on cobblestones of old, on hot cement, so far, so good!

3 stars for fit and comfort5 stars for aestheticI love how these sandals look on my feet. They are very cute, and they don't bother my feet like some flipflops do. No rubbing.The fit length and width wise really well, but my foot volume is low, so the straps aren't as tight as I'd like them to be. The adjustable parts don't help with that. The toe ring is a bit too large so I do think these have the potential to flip off my feet as they stretch out with use.The sole is fairly comfortable, but I can't really feel the arch support. My foot doesn't feel well supported in these and some of my old aches and pains returned when worn for a long stretch.Compared to the TEVA flipflops, I prefer the TEVAs. They are snug and the sole is much cushier.I like these and I will wear them, but I'm not sure I will buy again.

I would buy this sandal in every color if only they made it in my size! I've been a size 6 my entire life, but have noticed lately shoes have started to run a full size larger (is this vanity sizing??) Plaka is no exception. Unfortunately, the Comfort ones with actual arch support that are SO much more comfortable than their Original collection seem to stop at the new size 6 (which is like the old size 7).Please, Plaka, make a size 5 in the Comfort collection! These sandals are so cute, the braided rope is incredibly soft, and the colors are so lovely (esp. the deep red and yellow that I would normally never buy but look great in person.)

Plaka relief flip flops. A nice comfortable sole with arch and perfect flex (nicer arch than the Oceansides though love those too) Braids are adaptable and supple and seems they'd fit almost any foot size due to the braid's craftsmanship and movability. One foot's outer braid is a little loose which could be my foot but I can sew a 'tuck' in it. Other foot perfect. (my feet are flat and narrow)Despite 10" foot according to ruler I ordered 9 and the length is absolutely perfect. Very happy with look, comfort and style. Wearing around the house due to season and love them.

I ended up returning these. I was looking for a less sporty looking replacement for my skecher gomat flip flops, which also have a decent arch bump. These would've fit the bill perfectly if I could slide them on easily but I had to put them with my hands. The tiny toe loop in particular was a bit challenging. It just doesn't slide easily against my skin. Really had to tug my toe through the loop. It wasn't tight or uncomfortable just harder to put on than anticipated. I liked that you can slide the straps so if they're rubbing something or you need a tighter fit up towards your ankle you can move them a bit. Probably about an inch one way or the other.

Llegaron en tiempo y forma. Me gusta que son cómodas y me quedaron bien, es recomendable usarlas en casa varias veces antes de salir, para que se amolden a los pies. Lo que no me gusta es que hay que estar pendiente de lavarlas con frecuencia porque tienden a oler a pies con cierta facilidad.

I was looking for a decent looking pair of healthy sandals, not an easy great, I know. I liked the look of this and really wanted to like them, but the truth is that, at least on my feet the straps don't stay in place and I need to readjust all the time. Also, they don't prevent the flip-flop gait effect where you have to lift up your toe at every step in order to keep the sandal on while you walk. Sadly, not for me

Despite the fact that there is zero arch support I found these really comfortable. At first I was concerned they were too loose and wouldn’t stay on my feet but after adjusting the straps and wearing for awhile they fit perfectly. I’m already planning to buy in another colour.
