I have used all sorts of planners and time management systems over the years. I started in the 90s with the Franklin Covey System (First things, first!) and then used various versions of GTD and had yet to find a good way to manage the clutter and chaos that is my digital life. I work in media / tech and have so many incoming channels (email, calendar invites, Slack, Teams, Sharepoint, JIRA notifications, etc.) not to mention a personal life of gmail, text messages, What's Apps, Instagram, Twitter / X, Facebook (because my actual family uses FB still), and then just the regular old mobile phone call which is largely spam, but more often a friend in need. It's so easy to get overwhelmed and forget about your own life, the quality of your energy and your priorities. I've even tried Cal Newport's time boxing systems and various apps that integrate all your digital lives, I"ve had a Hobonichi Techo planner and various Moleskine calendars, but for whatever reason, none of these solved the planning problem. The issue isn't the tracking of tasks or the time management, it's the energy management, the need to shift things around to meet priorities and the ability to proactively plan - not in a myopic daily list way - but in a way that has some foresight into the upcoming volume of asks and responsibilities. I needed something that was NOT another digital distraction. I needed something that helped me THINK and get things under control so I could VISUALLY see the volume. This Planner Pad (I got the desk sized one which is 6x8 roughly) is just that solution. You can see a collection of things, what you've committed to doing on a certain day, and any big events. That way everything is all in one place and can be proactively sorted. When I use it, I can assess my level of energy better. I can read out loud the upcoming anxiety of a big presentation, stacked with a day of meetings and say, "you know what - schedule some down time that night when I'm done - order in, watch a movie - paying bills can wait until Friday - it will be ok." No guilt. I'm building my live energy back into my productivity, rather than trying to pack more into every minute with multitasking, multracking and micro time management. THIS IS THE BIG PICTURE!This is huge for me. It also clearly addresses the incessant copying of tasks from one day to the next. My bullet journal worked great, I'm a big BuJo fan - until it started causing shame because the priorities always got pushed and the creative tasks always got relegated to the back-burner and that started introducing shame into my morning routine, where I would look at the previous day and realize I had accomplished less than I'd hoped and had no real way to dig out of the overload, as each day piled on more > and then another > and then another >, until all I had from the previous day were >'s. Just not a great way to start the day.NOW... I start the day with a quick glance. I see all the things I hope to accomplish. I assess if that's actually doable on that day (weather, energy level, other intrusive tasks). As I go I start to notice my tolerance for pushing things forward and I can see when things are getting out of balance and proactively set a boundary. If something gets added to my plate, something else gets moved and I get to choose what I'm willing to move around and what I'm not. This gives you a real tool for setting work-life balance boundaries. It's flexible and you learn as you go where your hot spots are. Already, I've started taking better care of my health, getting better sleep and keeping up with finances and relationships. Additionally, there is a psychological component that allows me to anticipate things - some of these things are stressful, and some are exciting, but because I can see them coming, they feel more predictable in a way and even though we don't control everything in our lives, we do have some choice over how we respond to circumstances. Now I have a better understanding of what I'm actually responding to. It's not just that last email at 9PM that makes me grumpy... it's that this is the third night I've worked later than I anticipated. I can see the imbalance and recognize it for what it is... a digitally driven environment that has collapsed time and geographic space with ceaseless always-on demands. What I thought was my problem, was not my fault! And this Planner Pad proves it! Get one. Watch the video. It is life changing! (Will still use my bullet journal for meeting notes, but that's it!). This is definitely the best planner in the age of digital distraction and anxiety.

This planner promises to help you become more organized and accomplish more in your life. I am only in my third week of using it, but it is already proving its value. Use it to simplify complicated projects like decluttering, spring cleaning or remodeling that need to be carried out over a period of weeks or months. It is especially valuable if you need to stop work mid-project, and pick it up again later. This planner comes with a very helpful video explaining how to use it—don’t miss that as it clarifies its features. This is a highly recommended choice if you stop using your other planners after a couple of months or you are making a career out of decorating your planner. It is pricey, but ignore that. Isn’t a better-organized life worth it?

For years, I used a variety of calendars and planners, with varying degrees of satisfaction. Until one day, one of my favorite bloggers (who was famous for her calendar lore wisdom, actually) mentioned how much she loved the PlannerPad.And wow! What a difference the right system makes. It. Just. Works.PlannerPad is SIMPLE. But very, very customizable. I like to color code my categories, and find it very meditative to add my own tabs, and other accessories. I would be lost without all the very flexible pages included at the back that can be turned into project management pages, or lists, or even a mini scrapbook of affirmations (I have done all of these). And it's all without feeling like I am at the mercy of some expensive fad-of-the-moment.But here's the real beauty of it: their "funneling" system REALLY, REALLY works. You can take all your to-do stuff, and then drill it down to make sure you actually designate a time to get it done.Plus, I am analog all the way -- I can beat ANYBODY who is fumbling around with some kind of digital organizing app. I have my monthly and weekly appointments open and ready in a fraction of the time. The bonus of that, also, is that I can instantly see the context of other commitments so I'll know how busy I really am, or not, before taking something on.But most of all, year after year, I can look back and see how this product has made a *huge* and positive change in the way I use that most precious and non-renewable treasure we are all given: time.Made in the USA, it is far and away a superior product and system that works in whatever way YOU need it to. 10 stars if I could!

I've used Planner Pads for years. It's a great tool for staying organized. Calendar, filter my to-do list, notes, etc. Some years, I use the loose leaf; for 2025, I chose the spiral. 👍👍👍

This is the third year in a row that I have purchased this planner. For the top section, I use it as a “brain dump” where I put everything that needs to get done for that given week. The next section, I assign all that needs to get done to a day. And then give it a time. It’s a little plain, but I use washi tape to make the pages look more interesting. The sections are not so boldly written, so you can easily use the other sections to suit your needs—just use washi tape or a post it. So I created a section for words of the week. I have a quote for the week at the very top. I carry it everywhere I go!Now, for a person that doesn’t want to fiddle around with making it more creative it’s still a great planner. I think it helps me to develop a vision for the week.Oh, I forgot to add that there are pages for notes and pages for goals if you really like keeping track of your progress. As the years have passed, I have grown to use this planner in a more efficient way.

I've tried many planners and found this one to be the most common sense approach to personal or business day-to-day planners. Helps organize your day around your priorities.

The Planner Pad is great. I got it on Wednesday. But the Guttidirect and UPS tracking are a big joke! According to the tracking my order has not been delivered and is just about to go out for delivery. Unbelievable how screwed up it is! Planner Pad gets 5 stars, and tracking gets zero!
