If I'm stocking up on 2 liter bottles of ginger ale, or have several grocery bags I don't want to spill open in my trunk, this basket comes to the rescue. It pops up without any trouble, is sturdy, and I don't have stuff rolling around my trunk. It stows away easily, too. Great solution for my sedan and shopping habits.

I bought this basket for my wife’s electric Trike. She only carries items occasionally, so I didn’t want to spend $130 for the bike manufacturer’s version (which is specifically designed and is more robust, but is pretty much a permanent mount and doesn’t collapse down).It only took a few minutes to mount (using extra long , thick zip ties). When not in use, it collapses down, but you can still set items on top if larger than then interior basket dimensions. If I need the basket function, 5 seconds is all it takes to convert.Because it’s mounted with zip ties, it’s easy to remove/install.

Are use this crate to store dog supplies in my car. It’s just the right size for a small SUV. And when I’m not using it, it folds up nicely

When attempting to carry the unfolded crate from point A to Point B, mine falls apart ! Very poor design, in my opinion.
