Very sturdy and the 12 inch plate stand easily holds an oversize plate. Item shown is the 12 inch in silver holding an 18 inch decorative glass plate. Good weight on stand not flimsy.

These stands are absolutely PERFECT! They are beautifully made and the finish is sooooo pretty. They are sturdy enough to hold tile, plaques, glass or pictures....you will feel confident placing your precious items on them. Great value in my opinion and look even better in person. Very impressed and happy - looking to see if I have anything else to place on another set!!

I bought a beautiful Mother-of-Pearl frame at Pottery Barn, about 9†x 12â€. The back tab used to hold up the frame has started to fail. No way I’m throwaway this beautiful frame. I wanted a tall and sturdy enough frame holder but low profile enough so it doesn’t cover the beautiful frame material. This was a perfect solution!

I am glad I bought this. This plate stand is very sturdy. It is so much better than the wooden or plastic ones I have seen that fold open with a hinge in the middle. I wasn’t planning to bother with a review on a plate stand but I was pleasantly surprised with this metal stand. It holds the thick plate I am using it for very securely. I think even the cat couldn’t knock it over carelessly.

As you can see by the photo I wanted to display this beautiful plate by Sage & oak. Do I bought the silver plate stands so it would not detract from the view of this beautiful plate. It’s perfect

Highly recommend if you have exceptionally large plates to display. These are large, needs at least a 12" surface in depth for secure placement. Exactly what I was looking for, would purchase again. This plate is shown on top of cabinet.

I bought some vintage terracotta tiles when we vacationed in italy for our kitchen. They did not have hanging apparatuses and I didn't want to risk cracking them, so I set these stands up on our kitchen cabinets, and put the tiles on them. The silver looks clean and matches my kitchen, but doesn't take away from the art of the tile!

Avevo bisogno di sostenere una mattonella in ceramica decorata, di un certo peso e non potevo ricorrere ai soliti sostegni in plastica leggera. Questo supporto è ben stabile, esteticamente curato, non eccessivamente elegante ma molto utile allo scopo. Lo consiglio senz'altro.

We got these to display 2 plates which we had made for our son so these are very sentimental and have been in storage since we got them as was worried about them breaking.These plate stands are very stable and secure, I've knocked the plates a few times when they are on these and they have remained upright and not tipped over.I really lime the chrome effect as well as looks smart compared to some other wood ones.Good value for money and performs as should be. It fits different sized plated in well as well as we have the size of a dinner and a side plate on them

I bought these for my historic family photos in frames that had no picture wire. The stands are very good quality. Heavy and hold the frames very well. I will buy more colours. Highly recommend!
