So there I was on a staycation in the Florida Keys. I say staycation because I was supposed to fly to Bonaire. But due to the worldwide pandemic, flying anywhere outside the US was just not going to happen. While out taking some great drone footage out at Sombrero Key I made the mistake of setting "Mosquitoe One" (name of my drone) on a seat of the boat. Well, it was a pretty rough day on the water, and Mosquitoe One decided she did not like that seat and preferred to deck of the boat better. When Mosquitoe One touched down on the deck, she landed on her Gimbel which broke the mount. She was "dead in the water". Well, thank God for Amazon and the power of the interweb. I was able to order a new mount right there from the boat and I had it replaced within 24 hours. This mount is just like the factory DJI mount and comes with everything you may need to change out the part. I will say that if you do not have experience taking apart expensive electronics, consult a professional. You will need to take your Mavic apart to perform this operation. Crashed your drone too? Here's a tip: some of the parts you'll find on Amazon are cheaper (flimsier) versions of DJI's OEM parts. Keep the fragments of the original part so you can compare the two.This part, however, is just as sturdy as the OEM vibration plate you broke. Plus, it comes with all the screws you need to put it back on.Update: Took it on a few windy test flights. Even though the drone wouldn't stay in place, the footage was just as smooth as before the crash.

I ordered had to order a second one because the first one was not made correctly I could have returned it but not worth the hassle

It is easier than you may think to replace the gamble. Just have the proper tools, a good workspace, and take your time.

The product is OEM as advertised & came in DJI packaging. The repair was simple just keep track of your bolts. Have patience when removing the clips to pop off the upper drone enclosure, this part was the only real bugger.

My Mavic Pro had it after many months of flying the Gimbal Upper Mount Vibration Damping Board Shock Absorbing Board Assembly gave up on me. I order a new one from Amazon and I was impressed with the quality of it and now I am flying my drone again. : )
