One of the screw holes on the bottom half of the seat broke off when hand tightening, every other one was fine. Now cannot fully assemble the seat as the bolt blocks the top half. It's a cool product I wish I could have used it

Great sim cockpit. Very solid and very comfortable. However, I knew it would take a long time to build and I personally enjoyed that... I did have to deducted one star as it takes a lot of time to adjust to your liking. Very time consuming and at times frustrating if you're adjusting it solo. The way the seat adjusts front and back while having nonslip feet makes adjusting that part of the cockpit frustrating.Once set up though, adjustments made, it's sturdy as hell. Coming from a folding Next Level Racing rig to this is night a day. This now hold my Moza R16 and CRP 2 pedals.I do wish the way the pedal base connects to the rig was different and more user friendly. This alone to adjust the angle and distance took hours as there are only so many predefined adjustments in the support brackets. So you will adjust the length of the brackets and then sometimes have to mount them higher or lower on the pedal base. That was the most time consuming part after getting the seat adjusted to the right distance.Overall great sim rig. I would recommend it to everyone. But bring a buddy to help adjust quicker.

Seems great comfort wise, functionality is not all that well there are tube sticking out which you could stub your toes on there. The design is good, The built quality is what I have a problem with. Not worth $600 maybe $400. You can bend the seats upward to save some space.

The 'expansion' bolts are missing from one of the mounts that holds the curved bar/wheelbase plate. These bolts are critical for "spreading" the mount head, securing the bar in place.Poor quality control, seems others have similar issues from Playseat.

This is a great product! If u are a f1 sim racer this is the rig for u! VERY STURDY and comfortable to sit for hours. Not sure how long cushions will last but I'm sure u can get replacments anyways. Setup was easy and even though instructions arnt the best, minimal parts means less plcs that get loose over time. Foot tray is like a rock and ain't moving no matter how hard u press on it

Vorne weg, dies ist mein erstes Simrig das ich baue und als Hintergrundinformation, ich bin gelernter Metalltechniker tätig in der Qualitätssicherung.Der Playseat Formula Instinct F1 Edition kam super kompakt verpackt und schneller als angekündigt an. Die Wertigkeit der verwendeten Materialen würde ich als überdurchschnittlich einstufen. Besonders positiv war für mich, dass es hochwertife Schrauben sind und die silberne verzahnte Verstelleinheit aus Metall besteht.Beim Zusammenbau gab es leider ein paar Themen welche die Qualität der Verarbeitung schmälern.Die Anleitung ist nicht immer korrekt, sind aber minimale Fehler über die man hinwegsehen kann..Was anderes sind die absolut mangelhaften Gewinde an der Sitzschale! Ohne das Gewinde nachzubohren wäre einem ungeübten Menschen hier wohl alle Schrauben durchgedreht.Ist der Playseat aber einmal aufgebaut, vergisst man diese zusätzlichen Aufwände wieder, es sieht top aus, sitzt sich gut und macht einen wertigen Eindruck.Sobald ich alle restlichen Fanatec Komponenten verbaut habe werde ich hier ein Update geben.
