Solid product but like all similar ones light weight cheaper material. Not like a US made bucket but functional and looks good. Lid fits fine. Mine came without being bent like others but that is as much luck than anything. Easy to bend and damage but was in a fairly good box with Styrofoam. I can see this is by the luck of the draw.

Nice size for tempting my fireplace insert. I and scoop out the ash and let it cool before disposable. But in the meantime I can burn a fire for heat.

The bucket looked good, but on arrival it was dented and out of round. The box was packed so badly anything inside would be damaged, but it's such a hassle to return that I just knocked out the dent and squeezed back to round.

This is my second one. I was so pleased with the first one. It lasted for years even though it was kept outside. It's the perfect size and will hold a lot of ashes. The lid seals it from getting water inside and letting smoke out. Good quality for the price!

This is the heaviest duty of all the ash cans on Amazon. Quality built, heavier gauge metal. Down side is lid does not fit snugly over can rim like my older buckets. It is taller & holds more ash, but is too tall to fit under the lip below the door of my stove, to make a clean sweep & catch ash & coals spilling off the lip.

Seems good. it seems like it will do what it is supposed to . bought it to replace another bucket that rusted all the way through and the bottom came out. and seems like a great bargain for an ash bucket

We live in a condo, so our BBQ is on our deck. We have somewhat limited space for dumping used charcoal after we BBQ, and we use the grill a lot (even during our Canadian winters).This fireplace bucket is perfect for collecting spent charcoal. We can store a whole season’s worth before we have to dump it. It fits in nicely with our 1900s exterior space, and keeps the whole space tidy. I have recommended it to a neighbour for his BBQ setup as well.

Had an old lidless bucket, we had to put outside, or onthe porch. This we can cover and leave in the house, on a small patio stone. The bucket does get very hot, but stays sealed, and seems to snuff out any coals pretty quickly. Nice big size, for lots of ash. Gets pretty heavy when full.

I have 2 wood burning stoves so lots of ash every day. The large capacity allows for several days between emptying.
