I've burned isos of dvd video, linux, and archiving files on here and it does the job well. I was a bit skeptical but I had no reason to be because it worked perfectly. It worked. It still works. It will continue working. I bought this in may and all of the dvds are working. Overall it works perfectly. Never had a burn error or read error.

This DVD-R works exactly as intended, I think many of the people complaining either don't own a good optical burner or wanted a DVD-RW.The discs burn fast and are made with a good quality. None of them were bent or scratched when they arrived. They hold about 130 minutes at a bitrate of 4.7 Mbits. My only complaint is that the spindle itself is a bit cheap and the discs shake a bit even with the plastic cover, but it works well enough.

DVD is alive and well; these discs provide a high quality recording, and are cost effective.What's not to like?

I've been using these for several years now, always burning at 16X and I've never once had a coaster. These are the best bang for the buck on Amazon.
