I liked the super simple, plug it in approach. It works well. The quality is plastic, but totally fine for the function. Good price. I have no idea how long the “on board†battery will last. Yes…you do plug it in. But also yes…there’s a battery. Think about it. It only comes on when…the power fails…hence the battery. But even unused, the battery will eventually no longer hold a charge, or will provide light for a shorter time. Now that I have backup lighting, power grid never goes down. Figures.

I love it when a product works right out of the box. I put this on a shelf and plugged it in. It was fully charged and very, very bright! I checked all the functions and they worked perfectly. And this was the lowest priced of all the similar products. I tested the lights to see how long they would stay on when power was out. They have stayed on full brightness for over 5 hours! And could have gone longer, but I turned it off so as not to strain the battery. That is awesome! I am extremely pleased with the product.

It's cheap and it works. However, it feels cheaply made with light and thin material and the charging light never turns green. I like its cord to plug into an outlet easily.

You'd think with the size the unit would contain a large battery but it feels empty. The lights are dim and I doubt they will stay on for 4 hours.

We lost power last night to our travel trailer where install it and worked perfectly so buying couple more for my house. Only negative the quality of the device is not great as it is thin plastic case and really light weight.

Light heads are easily adjustable to throw light where you need it.Run-time is impressive during outages.The only fault is that the plug-in power cord could be a little longer, but with basic electrical skills, this is easily remedied.

Bought one for the cottages, nice and bright, just hang it and plug it in, works great . Plan on buying more for the rest of the cottages we rent.

Overall fine but the length of the plug in cable is just over 1ft. Will need to an extension cord to reach any viable outlet.
