For home use it is very bright and I had to angle it to make it more indirect! But, better too bright then not bright enough!

I bought this cause I needed more light in my garage office. I have a stand lamp but it no longer provided enough light for my aging eyes. However, when this box arrived, I was ready to ship it back because it was so compact. I decided to take it out of the box and plug it in. OMG! I was blinded by how bright the light was and the power of this small fixture. So, I hooked it up and used the pull cord to try it out. I was shocked. It lit up my work area and made it daylight. So much light and so bright that I had to adjust the arms so the light was less concentrated over my desk. I love how bright it is and am now looking for a place for the stand lamp. Since several lamps can be chained, I can hook up another if I decide to light up the entire garage. I love that it has a pull cord. Iรขโฌโขm very happy with it.

They look good and are bright for the size but the on and off switch breaks quickly. The 1st one stopped working after 1 month and the second one 2 months after that. There is no way to replace the switch. I tried to contact the supplier but no response
