While it is very thin. The material is super soft, elasticity is good. Doesn't squeeze over my ears. It keeps my ears pretty warm. Plus fits under most hats.

I have a whole pile of various headbands and this one performs well above average. The thin material I worried might not be warm enough but for thirty degree weather when I'm active not just sitting the warmth is about perfect. Super frigid temps a headband is not enough but this can be worn underneath a heavy hat because this is so thin.The fabric exudes quality, and provides good warmth, while still being quite thin. I can see wearing this running, or for winter sports, though so far I have not. It is quite stretchy but does not seem to lose its shape, at least so far. It is comfortable to wear even though it had to stretch quite a bit to fit my extra large head. So far no misgivings with this product and it is a very good value at around $6 currently.

This fleece headband has a nice design that covers the ears and forehead. It’s quite thin, but the fleece inside helps keep the cold out. My only complaint is the size. It’s super tight on my small head. I think it’s best suited for a child.
