The charger charges a battery every day for use during the night. I swap out batteries every other day. Batteries last for a 10 hour shift without going dead. Small enough to fit in my toolbox.

I needed a extra charger for the home office for all my commercial radios. This charger is compatible with the Impres batteries. It was able to detect and charge my XPR series radios and also recondition them too.It charge my XPR-7550e radio with a dead battery to be fully charged within 6 hours. The charger is well made and the radio pops right into the charger nicely. If you have the Impres battery, this charger will also recondition it as well. For the money it works and again. It charges all my batteries with no signs of overheating from the base or wall adapter. It function just like my other chargers but at a fraction of the cost.

LIKES:-Most importantly, the charger is very light when compared to chargers of a decade ago.- It holds the battery securely, so it doesnt fall out.- An explanation for the various charging stages is on the bottom of the unit.Dislikes:- none

Lightweight. Small and portable.Fast charger.Great as a second charge for my desk in between running out for calls.

This works on my XPR3500e although the foot print is slightly smaller the Motorola brand charger it replaced. I have 10 chargers wired up in a lockable Job Box and the smaller size was something I could easily deal with. I'd call it a positive feature!

This charger works well. I am using it to charge my XPR 7550 radios and batteries.The radio and battery, or just the battery, fits in the slots of the charger. There is an LED on the front of the charger. It is red while charging, and turns green when the battery is fully charged.The charging speed is what is typical of most chargers of this type.This charger does not have the Impress feature, but that feature is not really needed for routine charging.
