The pads shape to the body when you’re riding, then harden to absorb impact if you fall (and we all fall). It’s made with a flexible mesh for a low-profile design that allows you to move freely. The optional waist strap ensures a snug, secure fit even in tough sections of trail. Available in regular and slim fit.

Will be using this for league ski racing when I'll be 8 months out of double vertebra lumbar fusion surgery, and need to protect three levels of new hardware in my lower back. I'm 5' 8", 135lbs with a Petite torso womens size 6. This brace covers all my back from S1-L-5, to about C3-4. I'll be able to get it on over a base layer and my ski pants waist and hip area. The belt helps to secure the vest in the lumbar area smoothly and the mesh vest is very stretchy and easy to move it. Glad that I found this in a size that works well for me and is comfortable.
