The mailbox is very solid, and the instructions are easy to understand. The MB is not as heavy as some purchasers feel, it fits well on a steel insulated door. My only negative comment is the existing mounting holes for the box ended up going over the recessed/raised sections of the raised panels for a Colonial door. It was going to be a pain to drill/ or secure the box to the door where these holes are located. Easy solution I drilled new holes appr 1 inch in for all 4 mounting holes, thus the box was secured on the flat part of the door. The only other thing I would say is maybe include a template for the cut out for the door. It was a little difficult to measure the cut out for the door, especially both sides. This way the template could be used on both sides of the door for the cut out. I eventually made a template, placed on the door and used it.

I have been using it as drop box for mail and rents . It has worked well , I like the material , and functionality. Installation was easy.

Mail slot is a bit cramped. Pushing magazines thru is a bit cumbersome. I decided on a through the wall dropbox with a mail chute that's much larger

This mailbox leaks in the rain. It is hard for the mail person to get all the mail in and the lock gets stuck. I am having a metal person build me a special rain guard. Very disappointed. It's already in my wood gate or I would replace it.

It worked for a week then lock seized up and can't get in to it, now can't find the shop details to send back and amazon expect you to send item back at own expense, to get money back 2 days later, ridiculous. The item c0st £119, then gonna cost another £40 to get my cash back joke

The mail carriers struggle a bit to get envelopes in. The photo is a typical day delivery. It wouldn't hurt to have a bit more depth than 4 inches. Maybe have 2x6 or 2x8 wall optionsOverall, I like the look and low profile of the exposed portion. The theft proof teeth are a nice security touch.
