Tear vertically and break apart
The tiles on each sheet are printed alphabetically in columns. Tear the sheets vertically then break apart to keep the tiles alphabetized.
Pick up, don’t slide
Pick up the tiles when you move them around to avoid scratches and other unwanted marks on your refrigerator or metal surface.
Organize alphabetically

Will this work on any magnet surface or just the fridge?
Poetry Tiles work on most metal surfaces - not just the fridge. You could also put them on a whiteboard/message board.
Are these magnets strong enough to hold up pictures?
Using small pictures or lots of magnets can work, but if you're planning to put up large pictures or expecting to only use a few magnets per picture, that probably won't work. Each tile is strong enough to magnetize its own weight but not much more than that.
Are these similar in size to other brands of magnetic poem sets for mixing things up?
The size (.375" tall) is the same as most magnetic poem products. Fonts may differ if you choose sets from different brands.
Are there repeat words or multiple copies of common words?
Yes, the kit includes multiple copies of useful words. There are a few copies of most pronouns, connecting words (like to, the, and, but, is, am, etc), and word endings (like -s, -ed, -ly, etc).

I had these tiles growing up and I remember spending time almost every day putting together new messages on the fridge.Now my children gather around the fridge and have fun constructing messages! Love these.

The Poetry Tiles Essential Kit has a lot of words compared to most other magnetic word sets. It's got a wide variety or words. The quality is good. The sheets of words snap apart pretty easily, and I didn't damage any of them during the separation process.The physical differences between these and the Magnetic Poetry brand word tiles are:1) Poetry tiles use a sans-serif font, while Magnetic Poetry uses a serif font. I find the sans-serif a little easier to read, but it's not a big difference.2) The Magnetic Poetry tiles have a little more white space around the words. I like less white space, but I wouldn't even notice the difference if I wasn't consciously comparing the sets. I don't mind the way the intermingled tiles, from the different brands, look.I don't notice any other physical differences between the tiles from Poetry Tiles and Magnetic Poetry.

Purchased to help elementary aged son with reading and writing. Good variety of everyday and “poetic†words to string together sentences. Magnetic power is a little on the weak side, but not too bad.

I combined this product with two other word sets for the ultimate fridge sentences. Good variety of words, but i think they could have included a couple more ‘J’ ‘K’ ‘Q’ words. But there are some blanks to use so i guess c'est la vie

This has a great selection of words. I wish the text was smaller so I could better use the space on my fridge, but I can understand that smaller font isn't great for everyone. I also wish the magnets were a hair stronger, but they are strong enough to not fall off.

I bought this as a white elephant gift and ended up taking it home with me! It's adorable and a homey staple. I got together with friends and we made up funny sentences. It's got loads of words and additional A,B,C,D,E magnets. Lots of punctuation. Even -ly / -s endings.

As good as or better than any other magnetic poetry tiles I’ve had in the past. Great quality, they broke up easily without damage. Incredible selection of words. Also, clever to have “Rate/Us/On/A/Maze/Onâ€â€Thank/You†together in the tiles. Loved it,
