The gadget that I didn't know I needed. My sister gifted me a painting that was done by our dad in 1969. It is on a canvas board and was in a backless frame. It was warped and had seen better days. I purchased this so that I could fit it tighter into the frame after flattening it. It worked really well! I ended up deciding to buy an inexpensive poster frame and used that backing abs again used this to secure that backing into the frame. Now my dad's painting is nice and snug in the frame. All in all I spent about $65. Worth every penny!

I tried using a stapler which did not work. I ordered this tool and it worked as expected and I have plenty of staples for future projects

It works fine, does what I want it to but there packaging was terrible. The stapler wasn’t in any kind of protective case and the pins arrived loose as the flimsy boxes were blown apart before I opened it so about 1/3 of the tabs are worthless to me now. Be careful when opening or you’ll have a mess to deal with

I do a lot of wood working and sometimes that includes making up a frame. In the past I have used brad nails to secure the pictures in the frames. While this does work, it's a bit awkward and I plan on doing a lot more frames, so I thought this would be a good tool to have.I absolutely love using this point driver. It simplifies the task of securing the back immensely. The tool is fairly easy to load and use. It only tool a couple minutes to get a feel for it. It consistently set the points in place without issue. The tool has a very solid build and seems to have solid mechanical insides. I can picture this lasting a lifetime.The only thing that bothered me was the packaging. Upon delivery, the included points fell out on the table and floor when opening due to the contents being poorly packaged to withstand the rigors of delivery. There was also no protection for the tool, which was fortunately not damaged. But I don't want to take a star away for a perfectly functioning tool due to poor packaging.
