I have used the Pokit Pro for several applications and I'm pleased with it.I have used the ohmmeter, multimeter and oscilloscope functions to measure resistance, voltage, current and waveforms from DC to 100kHz with the Pokit app on a Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone. With an external audio waveform generator I measured capacitor equivalent series Resistance (ESR).The Pokit Pro is superior to the Pokit Meter. I could not use my Pokit Meter for all these measurements.I look forward to future app enhancements to add automatic and manual vertical and horizontal cursors to measure voltage, frequency and period. Spectrum analyzer and Fast Fourier Transform features would be great additions. An arbitrary waveform generator would be a spectacular addition.I used third-party adaptors to connect to electronic components. The included clips are more suited for mains work.So far I am pleased with the Pokit Pro.

If I had to do it again, I would buy a conventional multimeter.

I have purchased 3 of these and all have failed within a few weeks or months. The failure is that the probe stops picking up any signal from anything that you attempt to test, or the unit simply doesn't turn on anymore despite proper charging (I tried everything). It's such a shame because there is such great potential with this product. I loved the idea of it that I bought 3 in hopes that one would work, but they all failed eventually.

Of the several meters and pocket scopes I have, this is the most handy and a surprisingly capable one. I'm impressed with the versatility built into this small package. The ways it has been put to use are well described at help.pokitmeter.com.FYI it's battery is a rechargeable Li-Po. The fuses are as follow:Fuse for High Current: 10A, 600V AC/DC FAST 10kA Fuse (PN: 0ADAC9100-BE)Fuse for Low Current: 0.5A, 600V AC/DC FAST 10kA Fuse (PN: 0ADAC0500-BE)

Mostly I use it as a regular multi-meter but occasionally I have remotely monitored a circuit where I could not insert a regular meter.

This multimeter/oscilloscope uses your phone or tablet as a screen. As a multimeter, I compared it to traditional digital and analog meters I normally use. It measured ACV, DCV, mA, and ohms within a few percent of the readings on the other devices. Good enough for most of my work as I don't know if any of the devices were properly calibrated. The oscilloscope feature is handy for field work where you can't haul around a bigger device, but it has some significant limitations, including the 100kHz max sample speed. The ambient temperature measurement is a bonus, especially in IT work. The best feature of this device is its compact size. One probe is integrated into the device and the other is on a lead that can wrap around it and clips into it. I'd recommend carrying some third-party probe extensions and clips, as you may not be able to reach all of your test points with the built-in probes only.I didn't test it on any high current applications to avoid damaging it. I would recommend carrying some extra fuses:-High current fuse, Amazon B0BHQMMYMK or equivalent-Low current fuse, Amazon B0CNCQWTB8 or equivalent-Don't mix them up...The biggest design issue I have with this device is the fuse compartment. Accessing it requires removing 2 slotted micro screws (not practical in the field), and once opened, the fuses are wedged in such that they're very difficult to remove (see picture). And be sure to keep a tiny slotted screwdriver in your kit.Overall. If you're looking for a highly portable, capable measuring device, this could be a handy item to add to your kit. If value is more important to you, there are better options.

I’m very much torn as to whether I like it or not, I’ve not had it long and yes it’s a handy little pocket meter/scope, however the leans are really short, even the prongs are short, the negative prong is really tiny because it has to clip into the device for storage, the cap is loose and poorly fitting, the same goes for the extra prongs that come with it, they keep falling off unless I balance the device and I’m finding it fidgety. The scope is ok, not the best but does the trick, I would of liked an auto setting feature as scopes are complex if you don’t use them every day, bear in mind you can only read one channel at a time so this would mean if you need a two channel device it will cost you double, and for over £400 you could get a very very nice oscilloscope and stick with you standard meter.Nice features are that it uses an app so you don’t have to be tied to the short leads, however I have been experience the App on the iPhone crash almost every time I’ve used it so far.Still undecided if I should return because I like that it’s small and fits in my pocket, also I paid £189 for mine a few days ago, it’s now £229 and I would definitely not of paid that for it.

At least I hope it’s a work in progress as it is missing a load of features that are common on even low cost scope’s and data loggers.Perhaps if they spend more money on the UI development and less on Facebook advertising it might be better kit.In summary- now it is a very expensive multimeter and a barely functioning oscilloscope / data logger.
