The 2 back holes lined up perfect, I carefully marked two more holes in the front drilled out and it fits Perfect. Best thing I ever bought for my 2014 Polaris 550 Sportsman, super handy.

This thing is amazing. I keep it on my Polaris 4-wheeler all the time. Holds 5-gallon buckets and makes a good back rest if the kiddos are riding along with you. Easy to remove if you are putting a sprayer on the back.

The box does not actually fit a 2023 Sportsman 850. It could, had it been designed with some more thought. I did not want to keep taking off the back handles to jig it in. Having it permanently stationed involves a bit of a struggle getting one's leg over, ... especially for us older riders.Rather than trying to send it back, it is parked in my shed................... awaiting an epiphany as to what to do with it? Apparently it fits the AP 1000, splendidly even though the 850 is the quad of choice for so many of us.
