I couldn't use it over my cabinet but I do use it stationary on top of my bathroom towel drawers. It holds my straightener, hair dryer, and 2 hair brushes! The only thing thats a little awkward is the chords, which I tuck behind the drawers.

Returned as the product was very too heavy and when I hung it under the cabinet it still tipped because there is not a pin to stopp it from rotating even while hanging.

This product does what it is designed too, no problem. The only issue I have is the back bar part, you cannot hook it to the inner cabinet without it bowing out and getting stick on edge door of cabinets. No way to tighten it either.
