Sharp blade is fixed to a screw-on head. unlike my older Fiskars that holds the blade with a wing nut and notch in the blade with the result that the blade loosens and flops around repeatedly. Very frustrating. Karveden is better and cheaper. Surprisingly light as well.

I have three large palms in my yard. At least 18 feet high. I have a fiskar pick arm or cutting arm. However, I have to get up on a ladder and maneuver around to get limping branches and seed pods. With this you can extend it and stand on the ground. So much safer and easy to use. Easy to put together and extend. It is solidly made so you need a little muscle and dexterity. However, if you have two people it is just a matter of team work. The blade cuts right through manila palm branches and is easy to clean off. Thickest part of the hand is a little thicker than a hockey stick and stores easy in a corner or hook.

Saw is very sharp and strong only thing when it is extended it is kinda flimsy

I didn't need the saw part, what I needed was a smooth action, rigid, high quality pole with a good locking mechanism and a universal thread head. I tried Lowes, Home Depot and Ace Hardware as well as a few other places and their offerings were inferior quality and way more expensive. I took a gamble on ordering it sight unseen at Amazon and I m glad I did. What was delivered was much better quality than anything I could find locally and was about 20% less expensive to boot. I have never hear of this company before but they are clearly doing something right.

I bought this to trim some limbs I couldn't reach and didn't want to get on a ladder or climb for safety reasons.It worked great. Helped me to get the limbs down without leaving the ground. It actually cut limbs i thought were probably too big to tackle but it did its job.I was impressed by the ease of the sawing and the extendability of it.Great tool to get the job done in a much safer way.Highly recommend.

I'm pretty happy with it, used it a ton the day I got it, just a bit bendy at full extension so you have to saw a little slower but for being this long and this cheap it seems like a great deal
