The pads work just don't forget to tape the light and limit overlapping use of the 2 or 3 inch disc and pads

Let's polish some stuff! I ordered this kit on a whim and it works great. I'm suddenly quite fond of polishing stuff. You might want to start with some 320 pads if you're bad scored/pitted/worn. But following the 800 - 1000 - 2000 - 3000 - 5000. Especially aluminum polishes up very nicely. Amazingly. I've used this product wet and dry. I also started adding polish to the 5000 pads and get mirror finishes. Truly satisfying. Gratifying end results.

This product is apart of my brothers Christmas present so it won’t be opened until then. It’s being used for his drill, that is also his gift. The product came very quickly.

Update: changing rating to 3 stars since the vendor reached out to me & offered a refund for this item. At least they’re paying attention to the reviews.The 1/4†shank and yellow pad the sanding discs are supposed to attach to are missing from box that was delivered. I ended up with only sanding discs that I can’t use with my drill because of the missing parts. Do not buy unless you don’t need the parts to actually use it with your drill.
