Polycarbonate is a superior clear plastic sheet compared to Plexiglass/Acrylic
Sheets can easily be cut, milled, and drilled with any standard tools (hacksaw, jigsaw, snips for thin sheets, standard drill bit, etc.) without the cracking or fracturing you would find in Plexiglass. Additionally, Polycarbonate can be bent neatly. Thin sheets can be bent cold with sheet metal techniques, while thicker ones are easy to shape with the help of a heat gun. It is also perfect for thermoforming or vacuum forming. This makes Polycarb perfect for both DIY and professional projects around the home, shop, or for manufacturing.

Unlike most Polycarbonate sheets sold by others and cut to a nominal size up to 1/4" smaller than indicated, Robosource's sheets are custom manufactured to exact dimensions, so you always get the same size you ordered.

Not so brittle like acrylic. Cuts well and precise on table saw with a jigsaw blade made for PVC. Comes with protective film that doesn't leave residue and stays on until you peel it off. You can cut the polycarbonate and drill into it with the protective film on and the film has some cutting lines on it and you can add more on the white film without writing directly on the polycarbonate. Even the flat cardboard packaging it comes is not only perfect but can be used underneath the sheet as a drill backstop or to store unused sheets or pieces. The polycarbonate clear sheet is sturdy, worked well for my project but for me a little difficult to cut to the size I needed. I would have bought a thinner type sheet because it would have been easier for me to cut.

Really didn't have a whole bunch to compare it against but in my opinion for the price it's pretty good. The 8th inch sheet is sturdy enough it is crystal clear and was a pretty good buy for what I need!

I found a bird feeder in my garage missing a piece of plastic, but I found a piece of plastic on Amazon, received it 3 days later and after a little trimming it's now a usable feeder. has you!

Was happy to find this as needed to replace skylight on Diorama room box. I used utility knife and scored several times, a little daunting as I don’t exactly have brutt strength and found easiest to snap over edge of counter post scoring.

Not flimsy....works well...does take some effort cutting (use a recip saw)
