Works good as a roof rack pad. Took off rails and slipped insulation over them.I glued the partial slits that let you open insulation for pipes. Think I could have gone 1 size smaller.I used 2 3 foot pieces so I have enough to redo tanks when these wear out.

Used this to insulate some 2-in water pipes. The product wasn't exactly round but it was taped anyway so didn't really matter.

I used it to insulate an outside hand bar which was too hot (from the sun) to grab when going down the stairs.It worked perfectly and I just trimmed it to size and taped it together.

Great product. Although it seems the seller has an evil sense of humor, they sent me one piece in a box that could probably fit a Hot water heater.

I was using them to control the rainwater on my gazebo which did not work like I planned but I'm sure they would do excellent at insulating pipes.

I bought this insulation to cover my 2 inch pvc pipe. The insulation is supposed to be 2 and 1/8 inches inside diameter but when I try to wrap pipe there is a small gap where pipe is not covered. It is just a bit shy even though I pulled hard and try to stretch it to make contact. So the inside diameter is not as expected.

Protects me from an exposed heat pipe. The pipe is burning hot, the insulation is just a little warm.
