I prefer this design so that it fits under a poncho properly. It's fairly warm. NOT waterproof, but that is what a poncho is for. Beware that it does not compress down as well as you would hope. Actually less than a standard Army issue woobie.

I've had a few of these and they don't disappoint. They're great as another layer in a bivy sack too on cold cold nights or a wrap around if you're using a hammock. It's not an actual military woobie but definitely does the trick and is an easy to recommend item.Great value for money
