I live in Texas and during the summer heat we have had algae problems almost every week. The pond has two aerator and we use black pond dye. We were also using the air max beneficial pond bacteria packs with aquascape muck away. After buy this instead of using the other brand i stopped having to add algecide for 2 months. And only had to use a quarter gallon to stop the little algea that started to grow attached to the grass on the ponds edge. I still spot treat with muck away but i dont add it every month like i use to.

We were battling a significant amount of algae in our pond. After trying to alternate jugs of bacteria and algaecide with minimal results, we decided to try a pond bacteria block. We've been very impressed with the improvement in water quality!Here's what we noticed:Reduced Algae: The pond has noticeably less algae growth.Improved Water Clarity: The water looks much clearer and cleaner overall.Additional factors contributing to our success:In addition to the bacteria block, we've also been using a fountain and pond dye. While we can't isolate the exact impact of the bacteria block, we believe it has played a significant role in improving our pond's health.Overall, we're very happy with the results and would recommend using a pond bacteria block to others struggling with algae growth.

So my pond looked like a swamp a few years ago. After pulling out the fallen trees, getting rid of beavers and their lodges, putting in 10 grass carp, "T-Weeding" for days and days, and building a solar aeration system; I was still stuck with algae floating on top by spring. I put two of these blocks in at the beginning of April and that nasty algae never really had a chance to go wild this year. By mid May the Kids where finally swimming in algae free water.

I was skeptical when I first purchased this, but the price was right and the reviews were good, so I bought it. Well, it has been only two days and I'm already seeing remarkable improvements in the looks of my 1 acre pond. I purchased this to help clean up the muck that is at the bottom of the pond, but in two days it has cleared up 85% of the algae that was floating on top and I can also see that the clarity of the water is better. I'm excited to see what it looks like a week from now. I cut the block in four and threw it into four different sections, so that may have sped up the process. I'll definitely be purchasing this again in a few weeks and throwing in another one in order to keep the pond clear through the whole summer. I definitely recommend this product.

This block did not clear my pond up like promised. I had high hopes after reading all of the wonderful reviews but after waiting a month this block hardly did a thing to my pond that isn’t more than full acre. This block says it is rated up to a 5 acre pond and it should clear things up but it didn’t do much for me. I don’t feel like it was worth the amount of money spent not to see results.

Water in the pond was fairly clear but the muck was out of control. 2 days after the cube went in water started looking horrible and shown in the picture. One thing I can think of is that it's breaking down the muck but that's just my guess. Regardless it's looking very concerning. 1 month in water looks horrid. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT

Bought this for my koi pond. I was surprised at how great it works. Cleared up my pond better than anythingelse I’ve used. Have bought a second box. Very happy.
