Update: I tried to lift a rock in my pond that was a little too large, so broke the handle. My fault and don’t blame the product. Came back on Amazon to see about buying a replacement and shocked to see the price now almost $100. Welcome to Biden’s America. As anyone who shops knows, our official government inflation numbers are as phony as our inflated currency has become. Spend a few trillion dollars that we don’t have to pay off special left-wing interest groups. What could go wrong? Yeah.So glad that I paid a little more money for a high quality product and avoided the problems described in reviews of much lower quality alternatives.Due to the location of gas and power lines, out new 6,500 gallon koi pond was built under the branches of a large oak and maple tree. Bought a large net to cover the entire pond before the leaves started finding, but fall they did. Used this heavy duty net to push small piles of leaves into the water (so they would float and could scoop them out) and then scoop up the soaked leaves. Also used this net earlier to push against the bottom of the 4 1/2 feet at deepest end pond and it performed perfectly. Feels very heavy duty and sooooo glad I spent the extra money for it instead cheaper options prone to breaking!

Nice product -put it to the test for the last 2 days and had basket filled with algae and weeds . The pole withstood the stress of the weight in the net . The net seems to be in perfect condition no wear or tears . Well built and worth every penny.

This is probably the nicest net that I've bought for the money. I tried unsuccessfully to take a video, but since I've updated my phone, it doesn't seem to be working as well. Needless to say, the handle is very well constructed of aluminum, probably the finest pole that I've seen for a net that I've purchased in the 10+ years I've had fish, and the net is extremely soft and the holes are extremely tiny so not even the smallest of fish or debris will get through. I hate to see this called a sludge/skimmer net, when to me, it's a very high-quality koi net. I have to also give props to the seller, because they packaged this extremely well, the net came in a separate flat box, well cushioned with air pillow packing material. Nets I've received in the past are just thrown in a box along with other parts of the order and they don't even care if it makes it there in one piece. The pole came in a tube that protected it from mishandling and damage in shipping. Again, not placed in a large box for it to just roll around and get scratched up. I would definitely order another nap, and definitely from the supplier, who shipped through Amazon.

I love this contraption! I'm using it on a 1/4 acre pond to remove dead leaves, and this thing is terrific! I accidentally scooped up some mud a couple times, over stressing the pole, I'm sure, and yet it performed easily! And, it's a cinch to dump out and ready to go again. In 2 hours, I emptied the whole pond of fallen oak, maple and sycamore leaves.

This net is an absolute beast. When I first saw this net I debated whether I wanted to spend that much for it. I am SO glad I did! This is so so sturdy with a pole that stretches out 9 feet. I always struggled with one side of my pond because it abuts a hill and it's a little hard to navigate myself on that side. This net reaches perfectly across the other side and picks up all the little pine needles as you can see in the photo. I am very happy with this purchase and as long as I have a pond I will always have this net. Absolutely love it!

I tried everything to combat the algae build up in my pond, just when you think it's getting better it would suddenly be back to its worst. I had a $25 aluminum net and it snapped in half just trying to scoop sludge. I was hoping this net would finally be something to battle that sludge and it is! This thing is a beast. Industrial strength pole and the net gets every oozing nasty bit of algae sludge at the bottom. Total game changer. I was hesitant to spend so much on a net but it is definitely worth every cent.

This heavy duty product is just what I was looking for! This tool had to be shipped in two boxes very sturdy ribbed aluminium with cushioned grips on extension pole. The collection basket does not wad up, holds a good load and is easily flipped to dump. This bad boy does a great job and is built to last. I could not be happier.

I have a 2,000 gallon pond that is 15' in diameter. With my old net which was cheep and flimsy I had to walk clear around my pond to get all the scum. With this beauty I can extend the pole and stand in one spot and pickup all the scum in the huge heavy duty net. Awesome Product!
