Thank the Lord for generics! There was a time when shoppers were forced to pay outrageous prices to purchase "name brand" pool equipment (Polaris, Zodiac, Jandy, etc.) because, well, that's all that was available. And even if you were lucky enough to find a knock-off, the quality usually left a lot to be desired. Thankfully, for the most part, those days are gone! Of course, some people are still willing to shell out $38 for ONE name brand silt bag. For me, however, I would much rather get THREE silt bags for about half the price of ONE name brand bag--especially now that the quality of the generics is on par with the name brand. Such is the case here. You can get THREE top-quality zipper silt bags for your 280 pool sweep (note the oval-shaped tabs) for just about half what you'd pay for the Polaris brand. I've owned both, and I honestly can't tell one from the other from the standpoint of quality of construction and longevity of the product, so why not go with the more-economical choice? Unless you're Elon Musk, I'm betting you'd prefer to not just throw away money foolishly, wouldn't you?

It's obvious to understand why these turned green. It was due to algae. But while the product was effective, and it fitted well and did a good job, the challenge was that some algae will come here and it will show more clearly on white color. Unfortunately, white color shouldn't be bought for this product.Other than this, the other drawback is that the strap mechanism isn't very useful. Rather than the strap being present just at the top of this sac, it should have been all along the length of the pipe and that would have meant that the sac stays straight. And that would have enhanced the effectiveness of the product.Overall good product but has limitations and could have been much better.
