This is great if all you have are larger leaves. It's big and durable. Unfortunately, I get small bits too and those will pass through this net. It works well, but will leave smaller floaties you still have to skim.

The best pool skimmer net I've used so far. Has a "lip" that makes it easy to scoop leaves at the bottom of the pool. I don't know about durability yet as I've been using it for only about 6 months - but so far, so good!UPDATE: now 1 year into use. The net started to tear, so I let the supplier know. They are sending me a new one, no question asked! Looking closer at the issue I found that most of the holes in the net were right at the edges, where the plastic edge of the skimmer rubs against the bottom of the pool when cleaning leaves. So when I get the new one I will be more careful with it. That plastic could maybe made a bit stronger, but overall, it is still the best skimmer I've ever used (I did try numerous other products over the years).

This is a great pool skimmer, not too heavy and great for scraping leaves out of the bottom of my pool. Others are too big and heavy. Good price and well made.

My old leaf gulper net was a thin material that eventually ripped. I don't think this model will have that problem. The mesh is heavy duty, attached strongly to the frame and well stitched. The plastic frame is smooth and well-shaped for scooping leaves. I'm not at all worried about damaging my liner with this net. I was able to lift heavy loads of leaves out of the pool at opening with no issue, even with a loaded net the included button clip held fast. Finally, plastic "fin" on the back of the net is a nice touch, it makes it easy to turn the net right-side out after dumping a load of leaves.

The frame and netting are good quality and while it did connect to my existing pool pole it had an included adapter for a different style of pole.I liked the shaped edges of the frame to gather leaves from the bottom of the pool. There is also a tab on the back of the net to assist emptying the rubbish.
