Like most pool owners, I absolutely despite having to clean the pool surface with the pool skimmer. To make matters worse, I have a bad back and it just aggravates it more with all of the bending and stretching. I know they have the really super expensive full pool cleaners, but didn't know they made just a robotic pool skimmer like this. I figured I'd give it a try and see how it worked. It's pretty lightweight and composed of a lot of plastic, which probably helps with floatability. I absolutely love that this skimmer is remote controlled. Now I can just sit back and relax in the chair while a drive the skimmer around the pool with the remote. It's fairly responsive and runs at three different speeds. The battery charges fairly quick in about 3 hours. This gives you a variety of run times depending on speed settings between 7-10 hours. The debris basket is easy to remove and clean out. The leaves haven't started to fall here in the South yet, so I can't speak to how well it picks those up. But for all other debris it works pretty well. I am very satisfied with this remote controlled skimmer and my back is better off as a result.

This PoolPure Beluga Plus Automatic Robotic Pool Surface Skimmer works. I had bought one a few months ago that did not really work. It was a junky thing that submerged and then lifted and spit out water to move. I was not impressed. But this Pool Surface Skimmer moves around the pool and capture the stuff floating on top of pool.Is it perfect? No... Would I like to change some things? Yes.. Will continue to use the pool skimmer? Yes..I would rate this PoolPure Beluga Plus Automatic Robotic Pool Surface Skimmer as a 4.5. Rating are only input as a whole number, so it is a 5.I am not sure how long the basket will last because it looks to be fragile with mesh pieces in plastic to drain the water. I have an old skimmer net that I will put inside the Debris container if it develops holes. That is what I would change about this Pool Skimmer.But overall, this PoolPure Beluga Plus Automatic Robotic Pool Surface Skimmer does the job that I need it to do. It works !!!!!! You can see the pictures of my results..... a lot less work than using my hand help Skimmer.... LOL

alot bigger than I thought it was going to be. But It easily skims my above ground pool. Now the question is, does it last. I only got to use it a few times before I had to close down my pool for the season, and my experience with these type of devices and vacuums is that the batteries break/die quickly. I guess we will see next season.
