Edit #2: After much troubleshooting, I’ve finally determined that the problem I am having is with the APP I have been using, and not with this product. In fact, once I resolved the problem with my app, I am impressed with the audio I am getting from this microphone. Changing my rating, and my apologies to the seller for my mistake. +1 for your customer service in reaching out to me to rectify the issue. Raising my rating to 5 stars based on a good product and excellent customer service.Edit: I want to be fair to the company that produces / sells this microphone. After I posted the below review, they reached out to me and sent me a free replacement. So kudos for customer service. I really wanted this one to work so I could write my prior bad experience down to it just being a lemon, and give them 5 starts for resolving the issue, but that’s not the case. This new one has the same high-pitched scratching sound as the first one, and is completely unusable. Maybe this mic will work well in a static indoor situation, but for filming outdoor sports where I am moving around the camera to follow the play, it just doesn’t work.Kudos to your customer service, but unfortunately this product just doesn’t work well at all.— Original Review —I bought this for live-streaming youth sports, hoping that using an actual microphone would eliminate wind noise. Every time I speak or the crowd cheers, this microphone turns it into an ear-piercing high-pitched scratching sound. This thing is absolutely worthless. Don’t buy.

I ordered the 16 feet cord because I knew I'd be standing more than 6 feet away. The cord is very rubbery but it gets tangled up very easily and every time I go to use it, it's in a knot. I took a small container and wrapped the cord around it to help de-tangle as I unwind it. I guess it's unavoidable being that long, but the cord is very "rubbery" so it tends to stick to itself.

I though this would be a great option for zoom calls & iPod interviews but it’s not. It records the sound ok but YOU CANNOT HEAR ANYTHING ON YOUR PHONE! So you cannot use it for zoom, calls, anything where you need to hear because your phone thinks it’s a headset. I tried every setting to try to switch my phone’s audio but it won’t because iPhone’s recognize it as a headphone anytime it’s plugged in so you cannot hear sound unless you have another speaker or something ig can play on….but then it disables the mic. It also messed up the audio of zoom calls so you have to log out of the meeting, unplug then log back in. Cannot find box to return or I would since I can’t use it for what I wanted

I purchased a couple of different mic/ podcast equipment off of amazon but this is the only thing I was really satisfied with. Small & simple. . gets the job done . Quality is really good !

They allow a microphone close to your mouth while you operate the camera on your phone. For that they work great.

Unfortunately the quality and clarity is not good enough for professional recordings due to lack of noise cancelation and popping noise. It was not hard to use and it is not worth the price and the color was OK.

I purchased this in may month and it got broken in 40-45 days :(Have asked for refund from the company, still not got any processing further..will update this review when any sokution comes up !!

Voice quality is good but it picks up all the background noises. Noise reduction as promised, is not existent. You can hear wall clock sound in a quiet room through this mic. Kind of disappointed.
